And isn’t anyone worried about the cherry blossoms?

And isn’t anyone worried about the cherry blossoms?

I know that April Showers, bring May Flowers,

but what about the April Flowers?

Doesn’t it seem a bit cruel, to blossom into this world

and be beat down by days of rain?

Were they expecting such cold temperatures? It is unseasonably cold and - I know they do this

every year.

But doesn’t it seem a flavour of unfair, for them to show up, with so much light,

colour and vigour,

to be our beacon of spring and hope

and to be rained down upon in return?

But this is the nature of things, in the cycle of life and love,

they return, the sun comes. The bloom anyways,

But I had to ask,

isn’t anyone worried about the cherry blossoms?
